That sit on my chair

That untangles my hair 

I’m thankful for pillows

I’m thankful for tissues 

To stuff up my nose 

I’m thankful for my eyeliner

That I tattooed on 

I’m thankful for each sunset

And every chilly dawn

I’m thankful for rubber tipped straws

And the hot coffee they bring

I’m thankful for my she-heathens

They make my heart sing

I’m thankful for silver hair 

And what having it means 

I’m thankful for drool covered napkins 

That keep my face cleans

I’m thankful for my hubs 

Who helps me feel normal

Who itches my nose
